Spinner Vs. Wheel

I tried to use my spinning wheel last night. It didn't end well. We got into a knock-down-drag-out fist fight. I lost. I'm beginning to believe that I just wasn't meant to spin on a spinning wheel. I seem to lack the control needed to get the thing to move smoothly. Now the Spindolyn, on the other hand, I'm having a blast with. I have the Tenor Spindolyn, and the spinning is so wonderful that I'm going to start saving up for the Soprano. I'm spinning some natural grey wool that I got from The Arts at Eagles Find. The sheep is appropriately named Dusty :). I've got two pounds of the fluff, and I'm hoping it's enough to knit a coat for myself. It will likely take an eternity to spindle that much, but there's no way I trust myself to spin this yummy stuff on a wheel!
